Beyond the Therapy Room
Healing doesn't only happen in the therapy room.
Some of the most meaningful conversations I've been part of have happened in community — with people sitting together, telling stories, asking difficult questions, making space for grief, exploring identity, and finding language for experiences they haven't always had words for.
My work as a therapist is deeply connected to this kind of community care. Alongside individual therapy, couples therapy, and premarital counseling, I speak at and facilitate healing circles, workshops, panels, and conversations that create space for reflection, connection, and change.
I'm especially interested in conversations around mental health, identity, relationships, faith, belonging, and collective healing — and in creating spaces where people can show up as their whole selves.
Ways I Show Up in Community
-
Healing Circles
Spaces to slow down, reflect, share, grieve, connect, and make meaning together.
-
Workshops & Talks
Spaces where I lead a specific topic through teaching, reflection, and conversation.
-
Panels & Community Conversations
Spaces where I bring my perspective into a larger conversation around mental health, relationships, faith, identity, and community care.
Currently in Community
A look at some of the spaces I'll be part of this season.
I’ve had the opportunity to facilitate healing circles, many of them for Sudanese communities, creating space around grief, identity, faith, reflection, connection, and collective care.
Healing Circles
I’ve been invited to lead workshops, give talks, and offer brief reflections on mental health, emotions, faith, identity, and healing. Whether it’s a longer workshop or a short reminder within a larger gathering, I tend to approach these spaces conversationally, creating room for reflection, questions, and connections to our own lives and communities.

Want to explore the work more personally?
Sometimes a conversation opens up something we want to explore more deeply.
If you’ve found my work through one of these spaces and are looking for personalized support, I also provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and premarital counseling.
